What's new on our websites?

As you may know we're always adding new features to our websites, so here is the latest load of new features!

If you're an existing client then you can view all of these updates within your website manager dashboard as seen below.

Multi-Image uploader

We have upgraded the image uploader for uploading pictures when adding or updating products.

This has many features over the previous version including:-

• Being able to change the order of pictures using drag & drop
• Being able to upload multiple pictures at a time
• Quicker and easier to use

Three new design themes

Back in March we released 3 new beautiful design themes;- Carsington, Edale and Cromford. They are sleek, minimal and beautiful and some of them contain some stunning animations too.

Carsington

As we're based in Derby, we chose names of beautiful locations dotted around Derbyshire and the Peak District. This theme is named after a Reservoir called Carsington Water.

Edale

Edale is a beautiful village and civil parish in the Peak District, so we chose that as a name for our next theme.

Cromford

Cromford is a village and civil parish in Derbyshire, England, in the valley of the River Derwent between Wirksworth and Matlock and has a beautiful canal running through it. This was the inspiration for this new theme.

Facebook Shopping and Instagram Shopping

Our websites can now automatically publish your items on Facebook Shopping and Instagram Shopping.

This means all your items are automatically sent to Facebook and/or Instagram.

This is really handy if you want :-

1) To have a Facebook Shop with all your products (automatically fed from your website)

2) To have an Instagram Shop (as above)

3) To tag your products on Instagram, with a link back to those items on your website so people can buy them

4) If you want to feature your products in Facebook Ads or Instagram Ads

You will need to be on the LARGE plan to be able to use this feature

More contact page layouts

To allow further customisation of your website, we've now added more contact page layouts. This allows you to customise your contact page to best suit your business.

There are 3 layouts to choose from -:

• Layout 1 - Contact page with map, enquiry form, and several different boxes for text
• Layout 2 - Sleek and elegant contact page with contact details on the left, and picture on the right
• Layout 3 - Sleek and elegant contact page with contact details on the left, an enquiry form, and a picture on the right

SMS text message notifications when you receive an enquiry or order

We've released an update to our website platform so that if somebody makes an enquiry or places an order you now also get an SMS text message notification to your mobile to let you know.

You can control this (eg turn it on/off or change the number the notifications are sent to) by going to your website manager, then going to "Settings" and "General settings". From there you'll find the option to control this under the "Contact details" tab in the "SMS text message notifications" section.

This feature is available on medium and large plans. If you're on the small plan, please contact us to upgrade to take advantage of this feature.

Unread enquiry notification

If you have unread enquiries, these will now be highlighted in the main navigation of the website manager, together with on the home page.

Pinterest style catalogue list layout

We recently released another catalogue list layout, in the style of the Pinterest layout. It gives a lovely tiled effect and is great if your images aren't all the same shape and size.

We're constantly adding on more updates and features, so keep your eyes peeled for some really exciting developments to come in 2021.
